Blake did not make this particular product but he did make it possible for me to get my hands (er… tastebuds) on some! Also, this is not so much a critique as an all out praise of the fabulous chocolatey goodness that is Sucré. So hold on kids, I think this post may be a long one!
When I won the chance to try this product, I couldn’t have been more thrilled. I anxiously awaited their arrival and yesterday they came, packaged oh so carefully. They even had a little cooling pack to keep them as fresh as possible.

B and I tasted each of these chocolates like we would taste wine, having a sip of water to cleanse our palette in between each one.

We started with the Sicilian Pistachio. This has a milky, creamy, nutty (pistachio flavor) center that B felt was almost oaky.

We then tried the Blangé. This chocolate has a very delicate white chocolate center with a light rum flavor. The hint of banana is almost nonexistant.

Next was the Meuniere, a “brown butter infused white chocolate ganache”. The dark chocolate on the outside is a perfect compliment to the buttery inside!

Then the Torrone, a crispy hazelnut wafer. It is lightly crunchy, like rice, and slightly salty.

Then the Lemon Confit. This was the only chocolate of the nine that was not to my taste. That is not to say it is bad, only that I don’t prefer it. I think it was the soft, almost gritty texture with the lemon flavor that turned me off. Please try it for yourself.

Next we tried the Avery. B nearly fell over (or in love) when he tasted this! It is dark, silky, nutty, caramelly, and perfect in every way.

Then was the Paris, my favorite. It has a fruity, tea flavor, is dark on the outside and soft on the inside. Divine.

Next the Magnolia, light and silky. The roasted flavor of the pecan and the chocolate are a perfect compliment to each other.

Lastly (and most certainly not least) is the Sucré Dark. What to say about the Sucré Dark? It is unsurpassed chocolate, real chocolate. You can taste the cocoa, feel it in its texture. It litteraly melts in your mouth. Wonderful.
Thank you Blake and Thank you everyone at Sucré for giving me the opportunity to taste and share my experience with these lovely chocolates!
I hope to offer more reviews in the future!
